Returns and Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with Capture the Atlas. As a small business, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm that the correct item, size, and quantity have been selected before placing an order. Orders placed with the wrong item, wrong size, wrong quantity, or duplicate orders are not eligible for a return, refund, or store credit.

If you experience an issue during payment and are not sure whether your order has been processed, please check your bank statement and order confirmation before attempting to place a second order. Duplicate orders are not eligible for a refund.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a complete, accurate, and up to date shipping address, email address, and phone number at checkout. Please review all order details carefully before completing your purchase.

Capture the Atlas is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, lost packages, returned shipments, customs issues, or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated customer information.

Orders that cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information, missing contact details, failure to respond to the carrier or customs office, or failure to pay applicable import charges are not eligible for cancellation, refund, replacement, store credit, or chargeback.

No Returns or Refunds

All sales are final.

We do not accept returns or offer refunds, store credit, or cancellations after an order has been placed.

Shipping charges are nonrefundable.

Backorders and Delivery Times

Some of our products, including the Capture the Night filters, are sold on a backorder basis. This means the item is not in stock at the time of purchase and will be shipped once production is completed.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that your purchase may be subject to extended production and delivery timelines.

Estimated shipping dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays in production or shipping, including those caused by supply chain disruptions or factors outside our control, do not constitute grounds for order cancellation, refund, or chargeback.

Orders placed on backorder are not eligible for cancellation or refund due to production or shipping delays.

International Shipping, Customs, Duties, and Contact Information

For international orders, it is extremely important that customers provide a current and correct phone number at checkout. Customs authorities or shipping carriers may use this phone number to contact the customer regarding import processing, customs clearance, delivery instructions, or payment of applicable duties and taxes.

If an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated phone number is provided, the carrier or customs office may be unable to contact the customer, which may result in delays, failed delivery, return to sender, or other delivery issues. Capture the Atlas is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs caused by incorrect or missing customer contact information.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges vary by country and are not included in the product price or shipping cost paid at checkout.

Any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other import-related charges are the customer’s responsibility and must be paid directly by the customer to the carrier, customs office, or relevant authority when required.

In some countries, no additional import charges may apply. In other countries, including those in the European Union and certain other destinations, additional charges may be collected upon import or delivery. Capture the Atlas does not control these charges and cannot predict the exact amount that may be due.

Refusal or failure to pay customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other import-related charges does not make an order eligible for cancellation, refund, return, or chargeback. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges for customer errors, including wrong items, wrong sizes, wrong quantities, duplicate orders, or a change of mind.

All sales are final, and items cannot be exchanged once an order has been placed or delivered. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase to ensure the correct item, size, and quantity have been selected.

If the item arrives damaged, defective, or if we shipped the wrong item, we may provide a replacement or another appropriate solution after reviewing the issue.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please email us at info@capturetheatlas.com within 7 days of delivery and include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging.

We will review the issue and, if approved, we will provide a replacement, store credit, or another appropriate solution.

If the item is confirmed to be defective, damaged on arrival, or the wrong item was sent, we will cover the reasonable shipping costs related to the approved replacement or exchange.

Non Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund: sale items, gift cards, downloadable products, custom or personalized items, items damaged after delivery due to misuse, improper handling, or normal wear, and any order placed with the wrong item, wrong size, wrong quantity, or as a duplicate order.

Chargebacks

If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Filing a chargeback does not automatically make an order eligible for a refund if this policy applies.
